Grants for small business OHS training

Making a workplace safe for employees is an essential part of running any business.

A Federal Government programme enables small business owners with less than 20 full-time employees to receive free advice, training and on-site assistance.

The programme includes:

	training on OHS principles and compliance issues
	an OHS assessment conducted at the employer’s workplace
	development of a safety plan to meet the needs of the workplace
