Building project 2010/11

The face of Blackburn has changed beyond recognition since the early 1920s when it looked more like a quiet country town. The transformation to a modern business centre in the heart of Melbourne’s eastern suburbs could not be more evident than here at 20 Albert Street.

We have been here since 1999 and have outgrown our premises, therefore we are expanding. The existing building will be extended over the current car park which will be excavated to allow two levels of underground car parking. What's happening at the moment?

2 Sept 2010
Commence digging and installing the main support column pads in the lower basement, including the concrete footing systems required to support precast panels. Works will also commence on a 10m x 10m concrete pad required to accommodate the panel crane which is expect on site in approximately three weeks
