Peter commenced with Saward Dawson in May of 1999 after 9 years with the
national accounting firm of BDO Nelson Parkhill. His specific purpose was to
lead our Audit Division. Bruce Saward and Cliff Dawson welcomed Peter as a
partner of the firm in July 2000. During Peter’s time at Saward Dawson, we
have experienced substantial growth in our audit services.
Peter had previous experience with a diversity of audit clients operating in
many industries, including a number of publicly listed clients. This has
been enhanced through the mix of Saward Dawson clients. His rich experience
enables him to undertake specialist consulting roles including due diligence
investigations for proposed business purchases.
Peter has a real passion for training and mentoring and leads our staff
training and recruiting activities.
In his spare time Peter enjoys getting down to the beach and the odd home
handyman project. He and Alison have four young children and enjoy a very
full life.
