With a new Federal Government leading the country, twelve consecutive interest rate rises and skyrocketing fuel prices, some may argue that the economic business climate in this country and across the world is fragile.

To share his views on the topic, we are delighted to have one of Australia's top economists, David Robertson, Head of Financial Markets for the Bendigo Bank to address our annual Economic Update lunch.

David will share his insights into the recent Federal Budget, the Treasurer Wayne Swan's first one, and look at what it means for you, your business and your tax return.

For the past six years, David has headed up the Bendigo Bank's Financial Markets Unit which is responsible for the bank's interest rate and exchange rate risk, wholesale funding and liquidity management.
