It would be easy for us to focus on financial statements, tax returns and audit reports but supporting our clients and delivering real value involves much more. However, we see our role as far more than “just an accountant”.

Supporting you

Central to supporting our clients and delivering real value has been our Whitehorse Business Series of seminars.

The first in the series looked at tax issues relevant to both business and individuals as we approached the end of the financial year. We then presented Mark McCrindle, one of Australia’s foremost social researchers, in the second of the series (read our article). Mark’s discussion of younger generations and the changing attitudes in society was not what you would generally associate with a presentation by an accounting firm. However, we see our role as far more than “just an accountant”. As advisers we understand the huge demands on Australian businesses and the need for owners and managers to take time to work on their businesses. The Whitehorse Business Series is one key plank in our role to support business in many ways that are not regarded as traditional accounting functions.

The final in the Series will feature David Jenkin, one of Australia’s leaders in customer service and organisational culture. It too will present issues that one would not normally associate with traditional accounting. (Read more)
