and how can you use it?

Thursday 16 February 2011
(This seminar is completely booked out)

There has been a lot of recent media hype about "cloud computing" and many people in the IT industry are claiming it to be the most significant development in years. Others simply say that "cloud computing" has been around for years and now it just been given a fashionable label.

In this seminar...

So what is "cloud computing" and how can you and your business benefit from it?

This seminar will explore some of the major developments in internet computing and how they can be applied in your business. We will demonstrate some of the new products in the accounting field (eg Saasu & Xero) so that you can start to consider if they are appropriate for your business. We will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these applications and how we see these systems developing further into the future.  We will also discuss the implementation and setup process, along with ongoing management.

We will show how we use some other "cloud applications" to improve business efficiency and discuss what we have learned including the pitfalls for new users.

Regardless of how you label them, there are certainly some new developments and applications available that are well worth knowing about and considering.

This session will be interactive and leave plenty of time for discussion.
